“I loved this property, breakfast and bar staff was great. I came in a bit early but check in was smooth. Very close to the beach. I stayed one night with my husband and my toddler. My toddler enjoyed the swing, the fish, the views and he loved the peacock. My partner and I enjoyed the outside seating and the garden. Btw for a small hotel I loved the amenities and the complimentary drinks.”

“If I could give this “whatever this is” a negative-star rating I’d obliged.
1. Terrible Customer Service. Front desk clerk lacks professionalism and courtesy, they forget people are paying for a service and experience not your baggage from home.
2. You pay a hefty some for a wedding at the venue and they can’t accommodate a late check out, I had to get an Airbnb nearby for my wife to get ready for our wedding.

“After researching online and reading tons of reviews for many hotels, resorts, and bnb's in and around Ocho Rios, we booked a 6-night stay at Sand and Tan, and I'm so incredibly glad we did!

This hotel is right on the beach and has all of the basics. Our room was exactly as advertised and clean. Basic housekeeping was included. Small fridge, microwave, AC that worked great, WIFI that had no issues, hair dryer, safe, and an ironing board. Nothing……

“The location of the hotel was great, given that it was right on the main street, making things easily accessible. The hotel bordered a gully though, which was in a deplorable state. The dining staff were great. We had aurhentic, tasty Jamaican food for breakfast.....even our toddler loved it. The bedroom and bathroom could use a bit more cleaning though and the pool was closed for most of our stay. The staff were polite, buy not very hospitable.
