"Apologies to the knights rest, but we didn't actually stay there. I booked it on the day for 2 nights through hotels.com. However ten minutes before arriving at our destination the hotel rang me to say that they were closed and on holiday themselves. "This spacious converted barn was perfect for our stay. Larger than it looks in the photos. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. The hosts provided tea, milk and coffee supplies upon approval which was appreciated before going to a bigger shop at the nearby grocery store. There was also salt and pepper. "Spent the weekend here with friends for my birthday. Really lovely place, large and spacious...looks better than it did in the pictures. We loved the large kitchen and conservatory. It had all the amenities one would need. The property managers were very responsive via email and text. Our only let down was that the hot tub had broken down."

Wookey & it's witch was wicked
"I really enjoyed my stay at the Wookey Hole Hotel. The staff are the stars here without a doubt. Only thing I would say is there only seemed to be one chair in the seating area so not adequate for a twin room meant one of us was either in the hard desk chair or sat on the bed. The other issue was I don't think the rooms were soundproof as stated you could hear everything from the plumbing to the kids in the next room. Despite these small issues everythinh else was perfect clean & comfortable with a great breakfast to set you up for the day & a choice of evening meals including desserts. Also a lovely bar for drinks including teas & coffees."
