"Great place to stay , love this building and beautiful village with bridge and waterways , it our second time here , so the first time it hadn’t been refurbished like second time so even better than before , it not far from historic Stamford , plenty of shops,bars and restaurants , nene Bally railway just up the road , but lovely villages surrounding this hotel , will be back in a couple of years as I feel you can’t go wrong , nice experience "

"The hotel is well located right in the centre of Peterborough with plenty of onsite parking which is a bonus. Our only criticism would be directed towards the check-in on our arrival. The chap on reception seemed disinterested and bored as his body language showed. We didn't use the bar or the restaurant so we can't comment on these although the decor is very welcoming throughout the hotel and it's a lovely place to stay."

"Very nice old Inn with very welcoming staff. Good room and queit as at the back of the courtyard overlooking fields. Really nice meal, very well cooked and presented generous proportion,accompanied by an excellent ale to wash it down. We'll definitely be staying again. Our only critisism was having the radio playing in the bar and eating area. It would be much less distracting and a more relaxed atmosphere if it was just music playing. Many thanks, Terry. "

"Really comfortable. Amazing hosts. The owner spent some time with us both during our stay and just before we left. He shared his experience and great knowledge of his animals with us and ultimately made us feel extremely welcome. The facilities were very well thought out from the welcome pack to even providing mobile phone power packs. Overall, faultless. "
