This has to be the most incredible place on earth! Loved visiting with Candence while there and the 4 HUGE turkeys, beautiful buck, so many birds! Cozy & Roomy! Cant think of o e negative thing PERIOD! TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY! THANK YOU for everything you have done to preserve such an incredible place! My wife and I really loved it here! MAGICAL!!!!

We stayed one night visiting family in the area. This was a comfortable and clean room. We were able to use the pool while there and the kids enjoyed it. The breakfast was okay. Nothing special, but definitely fine for what we needed. Only suggestion would be to have more outlets for charging phones. Overall this was a very nice stay for us.

There was only one small problem: we were in a room directly across from a couple with about five children; they would not stay in the rooms and spent a lot of time screaming and running up and down the hallways. No one seemed to care, and that was both nights between 11-11::30pm. We are elderly; afraid to go out of the room for fear of being knocked over by one of the children. I know...

My husband and I celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary at Lefevre Inn and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The resort is small (only 11 rooms and a few cabins), so it is quiet and low-key. The location is wonderfully removed from downtown Galena, but still close enough to everything to make day trips easy and relaxed. We needed to change hotels quick, as kids were along and they wanted a pool to swim in. A few surrounding hotels pool's were closed, and this one wasn't. Sure glad we got to stay here!! Super clean, kitchenettes in each room, ours had a full size fridge, 2-burner cook top, full size microhood, and lots of space! Hot breakfast was very good too. Great location by local brew houses and walking to many places. Easy access to hwy. Only issue were the trains at night that we didn't know about yet...
