“Great little spot with kids for the water park. Less than 10 min to downtown galena. Breakfast impressive too!”

“Place is new, modern and clean. Staff needs better management. I called to request a steamer and was told I had to get it from the front desk. Once I get there they couldn’t find the steamers and said they would arrange for someone to bring one to our room. We requested extra towels and that also took at least half an hour to arrive. Staff were on their personal phones, some had a very unprofessional, unkept appearance. The cafe was okay. One barista was great but the next night a different……

“While the room was clean, the sink was missing the drain flange was missing causing it to leak. No one did any housekeeping to this room while we stayed here. They did not replace towels or toilet paper when this would have been basic needs. The lady at check out was busy on the computer during check out and it appeared that she was playing a video game. She didn't even pause to take the key cards from me. The key cards had to be replaced multiple times as they wouldn't work in our hotel room……

“This property was clean for a older motel but beds were not comfortable and breakfast was not as good as other places.”

“D is for depressing, below average “DUBQUE” (misspelled on the front entrance banner) Inn & Suites. WAY overpriced.”

“Room had damage to walls, loose floor tiles in the bathroom, water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the thermostat did not control the temperature. For 250 a night I would expect the rooms to be taken care of.”

“I had called the day before about needing one of my rooms to be a pet friendly room. They were not helpful so when we got to the hotel the next day they didn’t have any pet friendly rooms clean so we had to wait another 30 minutes. Also, I am a Comfort Choice hotel member and they wouldn’t help me get credit for the stay.”

“Everything about our stay was incredible - cannot say enough great things about this accommodation and the hosts! We were greeted by friendly staff, met with great amenities for the price, and felt safe and taken care of during our stay. The view is spectacular, and the room was perfect for our one-night stay. Clean property, thoughtful additions (like wine glasses with a bottle opener, magazines, soaps, etc) and a light continental breakfast. I'd highly recommend this location for business……
