“Nice property. The room was large and comfortable. With staff only on site during limited hours, we weren’t able to get issues addressed. For example, there was no bath wash in the container but we didn’t discover this until after the staff was gone. The next day, we left before we could let them know and came back after they were gone. As a result we showered using shampoo for 2 nights (it ran out but I had brought my own shampoo).
We were lucking forward to the Galveston eggs Benedict.……

“I truly appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the charming, classic ambiance it exuded; it was quite lovely. Additionally, the pool offered a delightful spot for relaxation, and the breakfast was not only beautifully presented but also delicious.”

“Unique train - what I expected- terrible price for 2 people - no fridge no coffee pot nothing to drink for the included “breakfast” of muffins. Shower needed cleaned. Toilets wobbly. Carpets and furniture sticky & smelly due to age. Hoped for better but was prepared. Luckily only stayed the night before a cruise.”
