“Small, boutique hotel delightfully located within the ancient walled city of Mdina. The city is very quiet after 7pm. Only a couple of hotels inside. A few restaurants no bars after 7 in March which makes it so peaceful. The ancient narrow lanes of Rabat are 5 minutes outside of the walls and have plenty of eating/drinking places open late. “Terrible parking. Hard to find. Room was clean but there was no mirror to do your hair. Can’t use the outlet in the bathroom so had try to blow dry and curl my hair out in the bedroom area with a make up mirror I had. No attention to detail in the room. “Malta is an exotic place for me. The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes. But directions are not clear and almost all the buildings were closed and looked all the same so it was rather difficult to find the place. The young attendant at the front desk was kind and polite. But his duty hours were between 6am and 3pm only. That means any one arriving after 3pm needs to follow the clues left on the door to open the gate and……
