"We stayed in a penthouse for 5 days with our teenage daughter. Lots of room for all of us and fabulous facilities. We loved the hot tub on the huge balcony. "This is a well appointed amazing hotel. I had no idea how large it was. It’s very efficiently run. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very clean The children’s pool with slides is perfect - we had my 2 year old granddaughter with us. Ricardos and Luzzo restaurants are particularly good. In both restaurants there are large well equipped children’s areas. We also liked the adults area especially the sky bar in the evenings and had a wonderful meal at Minoa restaurant on 11th floor with fab views over the bay. The outside area is safe and pleasant unlike many popular areas in Malta which are just shocking. AX hotel is expertly run and I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this hotel"

Also, the property is grand and elegant although you can tell it is an older property, which is why we were so happy to have a room that been recently renovated and was is in pristine condition.
