"Was overjoyed when I walked into the room to find that we had a room overlooking the river. It was beautiful. Super comfortable room. Only negative is that this Hotel like many of the others that we have stayed in on our three week trip is that they don’t provide coffee cups. We are environmentalist and we will never use paper cups plastic stir sticks… Good old-fashioned, real cups and spoons"

"Was quite a treat to stay at this authentic/historic hotel. Everything from the accents to the furnishings sends you back in time. Three separate dining options on the property, all with a different vibe. Staff were awesome, kind, and helpful! We took the train one of two days, and it's a quick 5 minute walk to the station from the hotel. I highly recommend riding the train if you haven't! "

"A tiring auto trip brought us to the quiet and comfort of Hotel Telluride. Check-in was a breeze and the underground parking was a relief with a car full of items being transported north. A spacious room, the heavenly bed, a WORKING refrigerator and gracious staff made this a welcome oasis after a long haul. Highly recommended!! "

"We chose to stay here because we stayed before a couple of years ago and were so pleased. We were just as pleased this time! The best thing in our opinion is the bed! The mattress is so comfortable. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful in giving a recommendation of where to eat. We don’t get to Cortez often but when/if you do again, this will “our”place!!"
