“We really enjoyed our stay. The house was fun and very eclectic, with lots of character, and it was exceptionally clean. Check-in was easy and communication with the host was great. We only stayed one night while in town for a baby shower, but it was comfortable and exactly what we needed. ”

“We recently stayed at The Read House hotel in Chattanooga and were very disappointed by how a serious cleanliness issue was handled. Ou our first evening, we found a live cockroach in our room. We killed it and immediately called the front desk. Someone to pick up the tissue with the bug, without saying a word and left. We never received an apology, follow-up or any acknowledgement afterward. At checkout, we mentioned the incident again to a different staff member, and she didn't react or……

“Bare bones hotel, no facial tissue, blow dryer, or shampoo, but a great value for the cost. Super clean, great shower, comfortable bed and pillows. It was everything we needed for a quick overnight stay and a good night's rest. I would definitely stay here again!”

“checked in. we reserved two double queens with hide a bed couches. whole hotel smells like must and is unkept at first glance.. opened hide a bed and a hotel towel with several gross stains and markings was inside along with cheetos, baathroom was disgusting, rust rimmed the tub.. manager to his benefit immediately agreed to refund our rooms and we relocated. I have not received the refund as of this date. cannot recommend this place ever!”

“Clean carpet (not sticky) in spite of the high humidity the night we arrived. Quiet hallways, clean bed. There was a towel that looked like someone had rubbed their face on and then, folded the towel and placed back on the stack. Didn’t report to staff as we were passing through the city.”
