The hotel is really lovely and super dog friendly with welcome treats and a little pup pack of goodies in the room. The staff made such a fuss of Zoey dog. Really lovely people. "We had a great stay at Bartley Lodge after visiting Peppa Pig world inside Paultons Park Family of four: two adults and two kids age 3 and 7 - both autistic so they are loud and a bit restless waiting, but we felt welcome and comfortable during our stay. The lady managing the dining room brought them colours and books for the table to play with as the conservatory had less WiFi signal for watching cartoons. Great breakfast options really filling and fresh including the usual familiar cereal...

Full sun had been on the room all day and it was like an oven. We turned the air con on and didn't make much difference. "Booked to be as close to the train station as possible and it is actually the nearest, just across the road from the station and nearest to the cruise terminal as well (app 25 minute walk or a taxi app £10) - I was meeting my daughter for her birthday, she works on the ships, so it was an ideal spot. Walking distance to the centre of Southampton too. Staff were really nice, loved having the pool, sauna and gym included. All in all great value."
