“We absolutely loved our stay at the Steamboat Wharf cabins. The place was adorable, cozy, clean and perfectly set up for a couple, with homey touches including basic kitchenette supplies, coffee, tea, creamer, dish ware, utensils and even a water filter pitcher. Tyler was a gracious host who was friendly and easy to communicate with; he and his family live on the property, and we were pleasantly surprised when he greeted us upon our arrival. “The location of the property is perfect--there's easy access and it's a great spot to call homebase while exploring the Maine Coast. The cabin peaceful and cozy and had most everything I needed. “The Ash treehouse at Arbor Camp was by the far the best get away we could have asked for. Close enough to Acadia and Bar Harbor but outside all of the hustle and bustle of that area. “Fantastic option close enough to Acadia/Bar Harbor but much quieter. It’s about a 30 min drive to the visitor’s center and 45 minutes to get further into the park/Bar Harbor, but it’s a straightforward, easy drive. I am a wheelchair user and had trouble finding accessible lodging options near Acadia. I’m so glad I found this cabin!!
