“Property was neat and clean. Provided with napkins tissues toiletries towels detergent basic kitchenette etc. it is located 10mins from Ellsworth and about 50 mins from acadia. Has bunk bed, small bed, futon and queen Size mattress. Has washer and dryer, which means reuse more and less to pack. It gets very dark in the night and can do star gazing. Overall worth it.”

The attention to detail in function, comfort, and decorating was noticeable and greatly appreciated! “Great location on the island. Not a terribly long drive to get off the island and go shopping if needed. Fairly close to Bar Harbor and an entrance to the park. Cottage was well kept and equipped with all the necessities. Very comfortable stay overall.”

“I was very impressed by the cottage. Well stocked and very clean with thoughtful stocking of cookware, linens and even doggie bed, bowls and biscuits. We left our pooch at home but our dog would have been very comfortable at the cottage with all the dog friendliness. Owners are extremely personable, easy to reach and responsive. We loved seeing their 2 black labs every day and visiting with them. The beach is nice and clean. Plenty of kayaks, canoes with life jackets etc. Highly recommend...
