"The apartment is excellent value for money. Has a private dock location, which I enjoyed daily as I was able to fish straight from the patio. The apartment is nicely furnished and is fully equipped. An excellent location to access the beach, waterways and town, but also to explore the surrounding towns. "We enjoyed our stay. Although we had asked we had no instructions about where to pick up the apartment keys, which led to much confusion. Having used HomeAway for vacations in many different places we have never had to hire bed linen & towels before, which we then had to arrange at very short notice from the office. We were also not aware that a cash deposit for the apartment was required. Apart from these initial inconveniences we enjoyed our stay. There were many cafes, restaurants, and bars...

"Overall the accomodation was ok, nothing amazing but comfy enough, it does need some attention however. The major downside was the 'spa' facilities and the communication from the very rude staff members. The sauna and gym were closed due to Covid-19, this is understandable but there was no mention of this online, and I tried calling beforehand to ask but no one answered. Then the 'hot tub' was in fact freezing cold, and all the staff could say was "That's how it's always been, it's never been...

"We only stayed one night so this is based on that short stay. Location is prime for this hotel. It is only a block or so from the beach with restaurants and a long promenade. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the pool, canal and marina. Parking is readily available right outside the hotel door. The staff at the front desk spoke English so communication was easy. "
