“Lovely home, absolutely charming and whimsical! The home was exactly as described in VRBO. It is in the heart of a charming neighborhood directly across a narrow quiet road from the Delaware River. There is a three tiered patio at the River that is part of the property and easily accessible. This home is a ten minute drive from the Washington Crossing State Parks and another 10 minute drive from Lambertville and New Hope. “Overall the stay was pleasant. However, for the price, I expected a few things that were not available. Because we stayed in the guest house in the basement, the house had a mold/dirt like smell. The rooms needed to be properly aired out before our arrival. Also, the temperature outside was relatively cold in the 40’s and the room was very cold and took a while to warm up after we raised the thermostat to 68 degrees. ”

“This place has a lot of great things going for it. It is only twenty minutes from downtown Philly, and only twenty from Sesame place. We only really had two critiques of it. The floors did not seem to be that clean, our daughter who was crawling on them had dark spots on her legs afterwards. We wasted an hour driving back and forth, plus a six-hour round-trip drive home, and lost our entire second day at the park.
