It has a spacious deck within yards of the shoreline. Handy for fishing or dipping into the lake. It is a short 5 minute drive to the restaurants, lakes and golf courses located in Fairfield Glade Resort (FG). I played 4 of the 5 golf courses in FG. All were in excellent condition. “We rented what is described as a Cozy Cabin in a “Resort” on Lake Tansi. It was, in fact, what I would describe as a 1950’s Grade B family vacation “resort.” I’m sure that in by-gone days it was considered pretty nice but too many years, too much MILDEW and insufficient maintenance/renovation have taken their toll.We had to have the toilet reset the day we arrived because it leaked and wet the floor, the towels were insufficient and sleeping 6 people in this “cabin” was a big stretch. Due to a snow storm some of our plans were canceled but there was plenty of room for us to spread out, some played board games, others watched tv or did their electronics.
