Ferndale Main Street Historic District Vacations from $671

It’s an old hotel expect it to be that, but it was clean. I read the reviews so I was expecting it to be old so I was not disappointed. It is a Beautiful hotel with a nice European History. Our room smelled like old cigarettes and old people. My husband had to get the spider and his web off of the ceiling…It was dark even in the day time. We heard a door close very loudly early in the morning and at night. It was Very Loud! It’s a well preserved place but it’s over due for a complete remodel of the room 110. I only know it this room. It’s one the best rooms and only two of them. It just smelled so bad I had to use my deodorant as an air freshener. I got home and was charged for room a second time and it was less than what I had originally paid through Expedia. So what is the real price? Our were we gouged on-line? We were there for the Raggae Festival. We paid more booking it on-line and in advance. We were offered a buffet that was being offered due to the event but I think it was expensive for what they offered $65.00 for two for the basics, no smoked salmon, shrimp or mimosas. I am still trying to figure out the resort fees and what makes it a resort? Would I go again? It depends. They have an EV charger which had we known we would have driven our EV they don’t mention it online. We definitely appreciated the shuttle that picked us up and took us to the event although the hotel had no knowledge of it when we called and inquired about it.

Beautiful Queen Anne mansion in active restoration. Very fun period pieces in rooms and well appointed bedroom. Modern plumbing, albeit in three colocated shared bathrooms. Never had to wait.
