“Nice little hotel. Very friendly desk clerk. Quite efficient and helpful. Very complicated series of doorways to get through to get in and out of the hotel and to rooms inside the hotel. “Firstly the good points. Location, large room, outlook onto the garden was all good. However, the downsides 1. Despite check in advertised as "from 14:00" , when we arrived the front desk was shuttered and locked so we waited. Luckily a guest came down the stairs and told us check in had to be done at a pub across the busy road from the hotel. This is not stated anywhere on the confirmation document. “Das Häuschen ist wunderschön, es ist sehr alt und wurde von den Vermietern selbst hergerichtet, hier steckt extrem viel Liebe drin, das ist der Wahnsinn 😍 Es liegt unglaublich ruhig, aber nur wenige Minuten von der Autobahn weg. Nach London sind es ca. 1,5 Stunden mit dem Auto, Cambridge ca. 30 Minuten, einfach top. Im Innenhof hat man genug Platz für 2 Autos, der Weg nach hinten ist relativ schmal.
