Arrive at the site and pass the large white sign with the park’s name embossed in navy font. Launch your kayaks, canoes and other non-motorized vessels from the boat ramp. Bring food and drink for a picnic on the sand and make use of the grills for cooking. Picnic tables are also available, providing picturesque vistas of the water.
Join the joggers next to the water or take part in a game of basketball or volleyball on the available courts. The children will love the play areas, with their climbing frames fitted with slides. Cool down from all the activity by diving into the clear water. Bring a mask and snorkel to spot the array of colorful marine creatures at your feet.

The park opens daily from early morning until late evening, with lifeguard patrols during daylight hours. It is free to enter and has restrooms and outdoor showers.
Fort Lauderdale Beach Park runs along the eastern strip of the municipality, between Las Olas Beach and the Harbour Isles of Fort Lauderdale. Hop on a bus to a stop at the northern end of the park. If you are driving here, pay the fee to leave your vehicle in the parking lot, which can get busy on weekends.
