We are from out of state and not knowing about the bar laws in Iowa, my child came to the bar to sit with his brothers and father - the lady scolded him and told him to get out of the bar - was very rude and made him very upset. I understand that each state is different, but feel it could've been presented just a little bit nicer. Was disappointed in the pool/lack of pool and no hot tub. Not real impressed with the TVs either, the picture did not fit on the TV screen, so had to guess what the football score was on the screen. Fridge was warm.

The hotel it's outdated. We chose it due to location. The service was not so great. The staff was busy, looked like they were understaffed.

We paid the entire bill up front on check-in, and at that time I informed them that we would most likely be checking out a day early. We were informed that upon early check-out that we would be refunded the difference in price for the stay. I thought ok. SO WHEN WE CHECKED OUT WE WERE INFORMED THAT IN ORDER TO GET OUR REFUND THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO CONTACT THE THIRD PARTY THAT BOOKED THE STAY. SO THEREFORE I HAVE A REFUND THAT IS DUE ME. AT THIS POINT I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE ENTIRE PROCESS. The breakfast was not the best. Our first night, we tried out the pool, which was in deplorable condition. The pool was cloudy, and was not filled to the skimmers. Bottom of the pool was chipped and cracked. PLEASE BOOK YOUR STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN GET MY REFUND FOR OVERPAYMENT.
