“NO INTERNET, NO WIFI – Otherwise very good all respects. When we arrived at Robin Lodge, we were really impressed. It is lovely. Spacious, clean, well equipped, warm. However, there is no internet nor wifi. In this day and age, to not have wifi is unbelievable and somewhat shortsighted. Whilst the listing makes no reference to wifi, I personally think that it should be explicitly stated that there is no wifi. You just have to look at the reviews to see that others, like us, have been caught……

“Stephen and Lynne were most helpful when we found our car had a flat, filling the tire and directing us to a nearby repair shop. Breakfast was excellent and featured a nice selection. Service from the staff was excellent. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings as well and easy walking distance to restaurants, coffee, bakery and ice cream treats! ”

“Location was beautiful, Check in was easy, The bar area and restaurant looked lovely as both areas had log fires roaring, and were decorated very tastefully for Christmas, which gave a lovely welcoming vibe, the room was spotless, bedding was of good quality, the room was very peaceful, with no annoying extractor fan from the bathroom, which you get in a lot of hotels, Also the room was nice and dark, which helped with a really good nights sleep. Evening food was excellent, as was breakfast,……
