"Good service, quick and easy check-in and check-out. The staff were generally not very friendly. The surroundings, like the recreation area, need more maintenance. Otherwise, I give it a 8/10."

"This property is truth in advertising. It is spacious, comfortable, clean; the staff is out of this world courteous from the top to bottom. I'm talking desk service, waitstaff and cooks and bartenders.... Only the slightest ding: front desk did not have mouthwash. Of course, I could go down the street two blocks and get some. I've always loved Embassy Suites properties, and this one is no exception. Also, affordable for the budget conscious. And who isn't?"

"Staff was really responsive and my room was very clean. Parking was easy and free and it was convenient to many food options. Close enough to the Hampton Convention Center as well. "

"I will admit when I first saw the property I was a little skeptical however it is a older property it's been around in Williamsburg forever. In this day and age if you're paying $90 for a room you really cannot expect much but at least a clean room and that is what this Howard Johnson provided. I did not get to eat their breakfast but it's smelled good. It is in the area that has shopping, everything that you need if you're on vacation, it is a good vacation spot I did not notice if it had a pool I was only there for one night but overall I would say if you're looking for a budget friendly property that is clean you should give this a try. "
