"What a wonderful place to stay. A really great house that makes you feel a part of colonial history surrounded by a beautiful forest, English garden and a fun hiking trail from the front door. "Get away from the hustle and bustle of Williamsburg and stay here! A very seamless and quick (free) car ferry ride across the James to get to Busch Gardens and Jamestown. This place is great for families. There is even a basketball hoops the kids enjoyed! Lots of space to move and very quiet and serene. We tried 2/3 restaurants in town, both good. Neighbors were friendly and lots of charm. Amanda was fabulous to work with during our stay."

"The description of the property does no justice once you arrive. It’s very quiet, as clean as can be, and everything that is listed is correct. There is now a beautiful new pier in the back yard for easy launching of the kayaks, which the kids enjoyed every afternoon. The owners were very easy to communicate with during our stay and were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!"

The spaces in the main rooms provided plenty of space for our work meetings and allowed to work in small groups for discussions. Definitely recommend this house for large numbered families or for off-site work related group meetings. "We traveled with friends and our kids and loved this place. There was plenty of room for all of us. The deck was also great to sit out on. The weather wasn’t great when we stayed so we didn’t get to use most of the amenities the resort offers but the indoor pool and hot tubs were great. Breakfast in the restaurant was wonderful and the coffee in the coffee shop was great too. We will definitely be back in the future."
