“A little updating is needed; painting would go along way. Beds were ok but pillows were hard and flat. Extensive ant infestation on pool deck. Staff was very nice.”

“The room was not cleaned from the last guest. We were on the 4th floor and the elevators were out during our entire stay. We had to take our luggage up 4 flight of stairs. All the coffe creamers, in the room and restaurant, were expired which could have made us sick. The master bedroom toilet was broken. They called someone to fix it which only lasted a day. The housekeeping staff apologized about the room and offered a free meal to the restaurant which was thoughtful. The hotel should informed……

“I liked everything, I was quite comfortable. I totally disliked all the stairs outside and the gravel walk paths. At 74 years old this is unacceptable. Will not rent there again for this reason only. ”

“I was greeted by a roach as soon as I opened the door. The cleaning of the room was subpar. The door has a huge gap underneath it and I asked for them to repair it but placing weather stripping. It never happened. Then a saw another baby roach. They had the room treated and finally got rid of the roaches. Also had dirty linen placed on my bed one week.”

“We booked our 4 night stay at Golf Club Villas a few months prior knowing that it can be hard to find a place during the Pickens County Sheriff's Jeepfest. We had stay in a similar unit the year before through a different company and booked knowing that it was a good value. The photos looked more dated than I would have liked but we were pleasantly surprised. The bedrooms had just been updated, great beds and bedding. Decor is basic and bathrooms and kitchens are still dated but appliances……
