The beauty of the surroundings is only rivalled by the incredible host family and the whole team. From the moment you arrive, they welcome you as if you are part of their family. Their kindness and genuine care are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. They seem to anticipate your every need and effortlessly solve any little issue, before you even realise they exist, making your stay completely stress-free. Our room was spotless, comfortable and had a stunning view towards Etna. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits from the garden and homemade treats. Optional home-cooked dinners were authentic and among the best meals we enjoyed in Sicily. Having a car is recommended, and with one the location is ideal—around 45 minutes from Catania Airport and perfectly placed for exploring Mount Etna, the surrounding countryside, Taormina and the east coast of Sicily. The atmosphere throughout the property is wonderfully peaceful. We genuinely found it hard to leave, would return in a heartbeat and cannot recommend it highly enough."

"This was the most amazing hotel… staff were so friendly and helpful. They could not have been more friendly or helpful. The grounds were so charming and not too manicured but beautifully kept and tidy. The birdsong all day was just delightful. The pool area was so clean & felt luxurious. The smell through the hotel was gorgeous. Not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for and it was all worth it! Only slight negative was the lack of plug sockets but given the property is over 300 years old it’s forgivable and was still very manageable! And the AC was amazing which I did not expect given the age of the property! We would return in a heartbeat!! And we got engaged here so would love to return!"

"Room was fair size and clean but walls are in need of painting, grounds are in need of repair and cleaning all around, property does not look like pictures at all, staff at front desk are extremely helpful and nice even helped with our luggage since no elevator, no pool and no restaurant Neighbour hood is not desirable Our first time in Sicily and I feel like expedia should remove the pictures of restaurant and pool Carpets in hallways very dirty looks like not enough staff Only good things were sfaff at front desk I feel first part of my vacation is ruined"

"We had a nice stay. The bed was comfortable, quiet and very clean. The owner was very nice and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. However, the listing shows them on the beach with a restaurant and 8 hot tubs. Something was lost in translation as none of these were true. Please change the listing to reflect reality ☺️"
