Torrington
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (7 reviews)
"The check-in process was easy and all instructions were clear. Jonathan, the owner, was very responsive and easy to get a hold of if I had any questions. The place was cute, clean, and perfect for what I needed (a place to stay during my medical school rotation). As the review says, it is not ideal for taller guests as the roof slopes down in certain areas, but I found the place cozy."

"The place wasn’t how the pictures were on the app. It was hard to find the room. The keys for the room are very hard to open the room door . It’s like you have to struggle just to get inside . The room is inside of an abandoned building… some staff in the building was telling me that I shouldn’t be staying there or they wouldn’t stay there so it made me feel unsafe… the bed doesn’t match the head board. Everything just doesn’t match the images the host posted.."

Rocky River Inn

Rocky River Inn

10/10 Excellent
"My daughter and I came and stayed 4 nights. It was a lovely hotel! The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was clean. We received new towels every day. We would stay here again! Only suggestion would be how to work the remote. There must have been some trick to make it work because only volume and on and off would work. They set it up for us one day but it didn’t work the next. Office people weren’t around to show us how to use it when we were there. It would be nice to have something printed with directions on how to use if it is different from a typical turn on, press guide or change channel button. Aside from that we loved it! The river was beautiful and nice to walk down to see. They are about a 7 minute drive to New Milford town green but not close enough to walk to anything. It is on a busy road but set back from the road a ways with lots of grass. Don’t really notice traffic driving by."
