“We were visiting family in the area for Thanksgiving. I booked this house in particular because it was close and had four bedrooms and two bathrooms and I needed a place to cook for Thanksgiving. We had quite a few issues as the house needs some updates. It doesn’t look quite like the pictures. There was not the proper bedding for this time of year so two of my people slept down on the older couch where it was warm. They also had one TV in the entire place which stinks if you want to go into……

“Booked this house as an alternative to a hotel because we had a bunch of family coming in for Elon graduation (we were expecting 7 and ended up with 5) and we wanted somewhere not far from campus where we could spend time together instead of hanging out in a hotel lobby or bar. This was perfect! Easy to get to from campus, plenty of room for all of us, and the park across the street was a nice bonus for daily exercise. “Fairfield Inn was great but when checking in they told me Expedia had overcharged me by $75. Got in touch with Expedia and they gave me a bunch of BS as to why they overcharged and would not refund me.”
