"The room was somewhat clean, there was a stain on the shower curtain as well as one by the window. The staff were nice. We had something happened with the housekeeper taking a cup from me while cleaning and gave us free breakfast. Breakfast was okay, I’ve had better. The bar was okay too, he remade my friend drink after she realized it did not have alcohol."

"Location about ) miles from Times Square. Easy to get to by the subway. I would start my bike journey every morning from this neighborhood and explore the many areas of Manhattan many people may not see. Bike ride included a beautiful ride along the Hudson River. Staff was fantastic. The neighborhood was very lively and colorful. Room was very comfortable as a solo traveler. Nice restaurant connected to the hotel. Happy I took a chance on this location this time- normally stay in Times Square but thought I try something completely different."

"Clean room and comfortable bed. I was surprised that the hotel is not as renovated as I had expected — it’s nice but not THAT nice as it is an older hotel. The staff is not 5 star like in other high end hotels. For instance, the hostess at the Gold Room was not helpful and prioritized talking with another coworker showing something on her phone, and the housekeeper that brought us a mini fridge at night clearly did not want to be working. The hotel is fine but not a wow."
