Our property boasts unparalleled views of Greenwood Lake and the Sterling Forest State Park beyond. Our private garden features a seasonal waterfall cascading into a lily pond with fish and frogs. The shaded patio offers panoramic views and a gas grill.
During the winter months, after skiing at nearby slopes, retreat to the cozy ambiance of our living room, with exposed wooden ceilings, a welcoming fireplace, and a smart TV. Alternatively, unwind in the claw foot tub for a relaxing experience.
The space
We’re an 8-minute walk or a 2-minute drive from a private community beach and a 5-minute walk from a hiking trail that connects to the Appalachian Trail.
Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook and serve. Bath towels, beach towels, and basics are provided.
Greenwood Lake, spanning 9 miles within Sterling Forest State Park, is only 46 miles/1 hour from NYC. There are wineries, cideries, and breweries abound in the area. We are also near antique stores, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, Legoland, Storm King Sculpture Park, the NJ Botanical Garden, Bear Mountain Zoo, and more. Additionally, kayak, flyboard, and pontoon boat rentals are available nearby. Advance reservation is recommended.

Our home has a combination lock. You will have access to the entire property, except some storage areas.

Due to allergies, pets and smoking are not allowed indoors.
We offer 3 parking spots.
The New York City Bus stops by our beach. The express bus takes about an hour and 15 minutes, and the regular bus takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the train to Tuxedo, NY, followed by a 20-minute/$30 cab ride to reach us.
