"A nice spacious room, with large comfortable bed. A good sized TV. Very helpful staff, particularly the manager when we first arrived. Parking in the street was our preferred option, as it is only chargeable from 8.00am till 6.00pm, when we were mostly out. The in-house car park is very expensive. Breakfast was good but too much hot food is put out at once, meaning it soon gets cold. They would be far better bringing it out a bit at a time."

"A warm welcome when we arrived although maybe a few more pieces of general information about the hotel would have been useful. The room was a nice large room with all the expected amenities. A nice touch with a chocolate by the bed but as it was booked as a double, not sure why there was only one? The bed was exceedingly comfortable. I had a knee replacement a few weeks ago and I can honestly say that I had the best nights sleep since I had the operation. The staff in the bar and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we were too slow at eating dinner and the desserts we wanted were all gone. Breakfast in the morning was good with plenty of choice and the option to order other hot choices if you wanted. We would definitely stay here again."

"We were given a complimentary upgrade to an executive room which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and I liked the Rituals shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. The complimentary water was also a nice touch. The staff were generally attentive - I did however have to go down to the reception at 07:10am as our electric had completely tripped. The man was friendly and checked the fuse boxes but couldn’t see the problem. Initially, I was told we would have to wait for maintenance but they weren’t on shift yet - I didn’t think this was a good solution - however it was rectified by another member of staff by about 07:30. We were able to leave our bags in locked storage and the WiFi was decent. Areas for improvement - lobby needed a bit of a deep clean (floor mopped, tables cleaned) and it was very warm in the rooms with no air con and no fan. I’d stay again at the right price."

"This is a fantastic hotel, the room was very clean. The bed was really comfortable. The pillows were really good. Plenty of immunities in the room, the interior design was also really nice very light. The bathtub was also a great size and very comfortable. The bathroom was really good as well. The shower was great. And we had so much space as well, the room was quite big. Parking is free right outside of the property and they have a lovely café next door although the coffee isn’t very good. Would definitely go again."
