"The lodge was beautiful and peaceful. I liked the consideration given to all the little things, like the usb & 2 pin charges, the emergency lights etc.
The only thing it is a bit far out, but if looking for quite & peace, it the place to be. "

"Excellent, well-contained house. The heating in the bedroom didn’t work, so the bedroom was quite cold. Fortunately, that in the living room did and kept us warm."

"This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe! "
"Awesome stay! House is well situated for utmost privacy and comfort. Added bonus of an inverter during load shedding powering up the most essential things and excellent WiFi.
Would book again."
"An absolutely wonderful place. The house is beautiful and spacious. Good amenities. The owner was very responsive to any issues we had. I would definitely recommend this place. "

We loved our stay with Penny at Thulamela. This is a great place to base yourself if you are doing the Panorama Route or heading into Kruger. We stayed for 3 nights and didn't regret a moment. Breakfast on the porch was incredible and we slept better than we had in a long time. Wifi is available only near the reception area, but Penny was so kind as to put a table and chair out for my husband to use when he needed to work. What an incredible host and amazing stay. We highly recommend you stay...

We really enjoyed our time at Mdluli Safari Lodge. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Having them prepare food for safari's and coordinate timing made things so easy.
We also appreciated the fact that they are partnered with and employ people from the community.
The property itself was well maintained and felt brand new. It was really exciting to see all of the wildlife as we arrived (and left from) the property, as well as while we ate some of our meals.

Great house on a macadamia farm. Everything is really beautiful and well done. Two issues that I should mention. Its a little difficult to find the Ulwazi Road since our GPS was not accurate and you need to turn off the highway onto a dirt road. The 2nd issue is the house has outdoor alarm sensors. A siren goes if inside the house if something sets it off. Suffice it too say when it went off in the middle of the night it completely freaked us out. It then went off about 3 more times. The maid...

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Zur Alten Mine while exploring the Panorama Route, including God’s Window and the Blyde River Canyon. The location is incredibly central, making it easy to access numerous waterfalls and nearby attractions without long drives.
The accommodation was spotless and serviced daily, which made our stay feel comfortable and well looked after. A thoughtful touch was the provision of firewood, perfect for cosy evenings in front of the fireplace. We were also pleasantly...

The pictures undersell the comfort and attention to detail of this quality venue. Our stay was one of complete comfort from the moment we arrived. The fireplace and double bath were a great way to unwind after a long day's driving. Our host was very personable and engaging, available without being too close.

All of the rooms were beautifully renovated. The food was incredible, everyone in the staff went out of their way to make sure that guests were happy, and they called everyone by name. The Safari rides were over the top and our guide Stuart and his tracker Colin were very knowledgeable and professional. The jeeps were brand new and very comfortable. We were sad to leave after an incredible 3 night stay at Leopard Hills.
