“Nice and peaceful”

“This cabin really takes you back... from a working percolator coffee maker, toaster, & stove, to the super cute blowdryer! Breakman's quarters is an end unit, & has a large, modern walkin shower. Nice water pressure. Kitchen has a working retro-looking fridge & microwave. Easy to access door code & ice available onsite. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the dining table & the adirondack chairs on the lawn. Its August, so many plants & grass have died back, & no train went by on our visit....

“We loved staying at Heron's Hideaway! The cabin was perfect for three adults and our water-loving dog. We paddled around the lake in the canoes and kayaks, swam off the floating dock, watched birds, read books on the sunny deck overlooking the lake, cooked in the well-equipped kitchen (love a rental that comes with a salad spinner!), played cards, and did a 500 piece puzzle. So relaxing! The cabin was clean and tidy, with helpful labels on things so that we could find things easily and know how...

“The house was lovely and we had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking and the closets had hangers and drawers for clothes. The area is beautiful!As the listing states, there is no cell phone service. There is wifi that is usable but pretty slow. There was a landline phone in case of emergency. We had never played shuffle board before but had a blast with it! Instructions were included in the house binder. ”

“Siltcoos Station is charming, lovingly cared for, and the perfect place to get away from it all. The view of the lake from our cabin was breathtaking. We brought our boat with us and spent a couple of days exploring the lake and the area. Dan and his wife were gracious and responsive hosts, and their dogs were great company. They immediately made friends with our dog. I can’t wait to return! ”
