"This hotel has bad ratings. But the room was actually quite nice. Just outdated. It was clean and smelled good. I've stayed in a lot of cheap hotels and beggars can't be choosers. For as cheap as it was to stay here. It's a great place. That's why I'm trying to give it five stars. Well worth the money."

"Arriving at the Showboat Hotel our room was not acceptably clean. The floor was sticky and covered with dirt, mini fridge had mold, and the balcony had dirt/bird droppings that was clearly not kept up with. I called the hotel desk which is not in on the weekends, after speaking with hospitality we were sent a housekeeper. "The B&B property was lovely, and we enjoyed our suite on the top floor. We had a lake view from our room, the dining room, and the deck. Check in and out was easy, the staff was very pleasant and helpful, and accommodated our breakfast options for a food allergy."
