“The property needs a refurbish. The bathroom was dirty. Under vanity used detritus, hair in bath tub and on shower walls and in corner behind door. Cups of liquid in refrigerator. Old waterbottles, dust, paper, qtips in space between head of bed and wall. Poor water pressure on the 1st day and worse the second day. Parking lot with broken cement and same on handicap walkway. Staff sarcastic when questioned price increase from $164. On Monday and $404.00.on Tuesday.”

“First this is a weekend town. Sundays and Mondays it’s like the whole town and lake are asleep. Nothing is open. We stayed in 2 rooms at the chase house for 4 nights with waterfront balconies. The hotel is divided into four different buildings. The church landing building seemed to be the most ideal where you can actually enjoy the lake with the room you’re paying for. In the chase house, you are across the street. And the street during the day is LOUD! Trucks and motorcycles all day……

The host greeted us warmly and gave us some great advice about dining options. The room was lovely. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet and well maintained. We will return. I would highly recommend the Meredith Inn.”
