“Said apartment was on second floor but many flights of steps to the 'block', then a spiral staircase. Being nearly 80 and with a hospital appointment, very difficult. As near hospital with heart & cancer specialisms, this should be made clear.”

“This hotel is a joy to stay at. It is small but quiet and friendly, and the room I stayed in was perfect. There is no on site catering, but this does not matter as Lisbon is not short of places to get food. My room had a king size bed, 75 inch TV, en suite walk in shower and a bath tub, I could not fault it. There is a rooftop terrace which is accessed by a rather scary spiral staircase but well worth it, and an honesty bar at the foot of the stairs so you can take a drink up. The staff were……

“This was my second time staying at Geronimo’s guest house and if I come back to Lisbon, I will absolutely stay again. The guest house feels like a home away from home. The room was incredibly spacious, the bed super comfortable, and great shower. Lots of closet space for an extended stay. I was here for a work conference and it was perfect. Right next to the bus/tram stop and could walk to Pastel de Belem in the morning for a nata without the crowds :)”

“The propety was very nice however the staff was not that friendly, specially the front desk..they gave the impression that you bothered them.”

“Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt! Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und großzügig. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass man sich jederzeit Wasser holen konnte. Die Self-Service-Bar im Innenhof ist ebenfalls grandios. An einem Tag hatten wir Frühstück. Die Auswahl war für uns absolut ausreichend, die Qualität war hervorragend. Vieles wurde selbst gemacht. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich. Ein absolut tolles Hotel, in das wir gerne nochmal kommen.”

“The reception lady is rude and not even have welcome smile and when i arrived, she said the room is not available and then 1 mins later she said is available, ok, i got in the room and saw the room is facing pool view not sea view and not seems like premium room I booked in Expedia. Ok, the room also noisy beside the indoor pool, i asked for room change, but she said not available(both this moment and upon check in time she didn’t indicate my room is premium and not available as i got to the……

“Everything was top notch and perfect. Plus, some free add ons which we were not aware of like tons of options in free breakfast, fresh from the kitchen menu, and fresh orange juice! Staff was amazing, specially Davin who helped us carry our heavy bags to our rooms. A staff member was always at the reception providing assistance. They even lent us their phone charger adapter and hair dryer! Totally worth the price (actually cheaper given all the above).”
