My family only stayed here one night after leaving Michigan Adventure's en route to Sleeping Bear Dunes. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm face. I was asked a few times if i enjoyed my room (not annoyingly). The rooms were very nice and clean. The sheets and bed were comfortable. The bathrooms were a little dated but the toiletries were nice. Property is quiet and the rooms are spacious and clean.

Liked having the pool available all day long. Clean rooms and great location.

We have stayed here 3 times and it has always been a pleasant experience! The staff is friendly, the hotel is always very clean, breakfast is good. It is not a super high class hotel. Very family friendly and has a welcoming atmosphere. Laid back and relaxful! I know we will not hesitate to stay here when we come back in May!

Very cool historic hotel. We had a great time hanging out in the bar downstairs and then only had to walk up to our room. The bathroom looked updated and was extremely clean. The king size bed was super comfortable.

Didn’t know what to expect going to stay at this property, but felt safe, clean, and staff was helpful. Coffee in the morning during my stay and brownies! Staff double checked the room during check in to assure it was suffice.
