“I just needed to get to sleep. Didn't expect much. It was a quaint room. Nothing lavish. Even had a refrigerator that worked well. I was worried ac would suck. It wasn't on when I got in. After turning on not long after it was cool. Really cold thankfully in the middle of the night. It's quiet but unfortunately right next to the truck stop. Got woken up from a dead sleep by a trucker horn lol. It wasn't a biggie. Got chased into the room by a lot lizard. Like girl I'm trying to get some sleep……

Sondra met us so graciously and gave us a wonderful welcome, and historic information about the home. All in all, a lovely stay!! A perfect get- away- not too far from home!! ”

“Fabulous restored home in quaint Ponchatoula!! It was perfect for our group of 8 guests, and we appreciated the little touches like extra water and snacks. We loved the nice beds and comfy furniture in living room. The carport was nice as well, as it was raining when we arrived! The yard and corner lot we very well kept - and the neighborhood was easy to walk around. Great family reunion trip, and perfect stay!!”
