"I checked in late ( 10pm) and checked out early (7am), so my stay was short. The staff was friendly & helpful re: the shuttle in the AM. Check-in was fast, they include breakfast. My room was really clean, which I appreciated. They have ice machines on every floor. The shuttle left right on time at 7am on the hour as scheduled, it was full so I'm glad they rtold me to come 10 - 15 min prior to departure so i could get a seat. Its a very short ride to JFk and VERY CONVENIENT. I will definitely stay here again. Much better than worrying about traffic in the AM form the city to JFK, I slept easier knowing it was a 5 min drive."

"Very helpful in being able to call and get a human who could answer questions, ue. Where to catch the shuttle to the hotel. Very friendly. Airline crews stay there so you know it’s alright. Very clean and comfortable. I stayed one night on my way back from overseas because I could not get a flight out the same evening. For that reason it’s perfect."

"They botched the shuttle pick-up even after I was very specific about my pick-up location and they confirmed they could pick me up there (the train station 6 minutes from the hotel). I had even I asked them to confirm the location where they were picking me up to assure that they knew were to pick me up. Then the front desk person was extremely rude and insisted about arguing about everything. She insisted that there was no train station near the hotel. The hotel was like a flashback to the 80's. Old clock radio, no USB ports anywhere, outlets all takes by lamps, clock, etc. Either the room wasn't cleaned well, or there were just permanent stains that couldn't be removed. There was even a piece of carpet that was cut out (not repaired - just cut out). For $225/night + tax, I would have expected something much better."
