“Poets24 Apartments enjoys the best possible location in Ely with a large and secure free car park at its rear. The Cathedral is just across the road and everything you need including lunch by the riverside is within easy walking distance. The room was appointed to a high standard and the large walk-in shower was exceptional. The facilities at the Poets Hotel are just a minute up the road and a great cafe is virtually next door. “WOW! What a stunning place! Which we highly recommend a stay here. From when you initially arrive at the property and travel down the drive you can see the wonderful gardens and beautiful views. We were checked in by Millie, who showed us to our room, which was amazing Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, but they did do meat and cheese boards, which we shared one of each, and certainly were not disappointed by the taste and variety. “Loved the west facing balcony overlooking the river on our room. Room decor was very contemporary and stylish. Bathroom lovely and spotlessly clean. Staff so friendly.”

“Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend ”

“The Guinness Arms had character rooms and the hallway was just as nice. Our room had aircon and also a skylight which had retractable blinds if you wanted to look at the sky or not. Room was clean and cosy with coffee and tea facilities. A bottle of water was also supplied with a selection of biscuits. Iron and board in cupboard for those who want to sort the creases out. Hotel was quiet and calm just the way we like it, we stayed in the week so not sure what it would be like at the……
