“Lovely little place, lovely room with lovely hot shower facilities which is rare to come by. 4 star rating only due to the pub being closed and nothing close locally to get food ect.”

“We stayed ad this wonderful B&B on the 21st march. The host covoured absolutly everything down to parking ect , which made check in/out a breeze. We were pretty shattered after a day at west midlands safari park, so a dive in to the beautifully made beds with the most amazing pillows! i must add was much needed. The view from the room was a big plus for us as the steam railway bridge was literaly a stone throw infront, we saw some gorgeous steam trains running their usual trips , my son was……

“Our stay was not the best. Dirty cups in room, no milk, very hot room. Asked for a fan which we did receive but it was broken. On a having a shower the head of the shower flew off and hit me. Food basic, at breakfast poached eggs were hard and u only got half a slice of bread. The staff were good, and when i made a complaint i did get my money back. Overall i would never stay here agsin.”

“Bog standard hotel, did the job. Staff were nice. The cleanliness of the bathroom wasn't great. My bathroom at home is a lot cleaner. The bathroom in my room was grubby. The grouting between tiles was filthy. It's decent enough if you have low expectations. ”

“Very characterful room, staff were most welcoming and made a lovely fuss of our little dog , as well as giving him a sausage at breakfast time. Nice to have a bath too. Excellent value for money, will stay again.”

“Lots of parking. The waitress at breakfast was great and couldn't do enough for me. I stayed 2 nights, 1st breakfast perfectly cooked, the 2nd breakfast not so great. Prices are about right The room was big, clean light and airy with good facilities. Definitely an above average establishment. I would definitely re visit.”

“Stunning picturesque venue sadly the garden pond needs major cleaning out as crates dumped in there with scum growing top. Avoid eating in the restaurant definitely not worth it. ”
