“The private room was very clean and just big enough to stretch out. The air conditioning was very strong. Nikki, the receptionist on duty during our stay, was a wonderful help to us and devoted some of her own time helping us plan our time in Jaco. The pool is lovely, and the hostel owners make a wonderful Gallo Pinto for breakfast every morning.”

“The only good thing about this property is the location. I had a private room. The room looked good when you first enter and it has AC. However, the wifi did not work in my room, only the common area. When I was about to go to bed, I noticed there were ants crawling all over the two beds! There were ants also in the bathroom. I tired to contact the concierge (which are just people in their 20’s working there) but they clock out at 11pm. ”

“We stayed here with our kids and loved it. Beautiful place. Close to the beach and lots of shopping. The pool was beautiful and fun. Had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay with the family. The place was easy to find, stunningly clean, and we would stay here again for a longer stay.”

“This place really sucks, seems pretty nice in pictures but has been neglected, apparently for years. There are things like the balcony light not have a switch, the one of the celling fas not working, a single ac unit for the whole place. For these day and age not having Wifi, seems pretty ridiculous. The kitchen is supposed to be semi-equiped, but there is almost nothing. No cookware not utensils, not even coffee mugs. In general everything is in a very poorly and abandoned state. ”

“Location is not easily accessible especially after dark. The local pub let me borrow one of their guys to escort me into the bushy property. Upon arrival the lights were turned off and the hotel keepers came out because my new friend called them out. He told them I was guest and that was when the confusion began. I was repeatedly told I did not have a reservation although I was showing them the receipt and reservation. They said they did not work with Apps and that they only rented to……
