Kennesaw Magnuson

Basically fine for sleeping; toilet leaks around the base onto the floor; breakfast is minimal, attendants were quite pleasant. Surrounding area is nice with an LA Fitness directly across street.

Nice and clean hotel

Posted Nov 5, 2015 on Hotels
This was a good price hotel. We weren't there very much since we were out with family but it was a quiet place to stay and the room was very clean. It is one of the cheaper places to stay in the area which is nice but still within 4 miles of Barrett pkwy that has lots of shopping and food choices. And within just a couple miles from Kennesaw state university. I would stay here again when I come back to visit

Sadly didn't receive what I paid for.

My son and I stayed 1 night. The TV turned on but it took 30+ mins for the DirectTV setup to complete after spending 5 mins trying to figure out why it said no signal, and that was because the cable cord was unplugged. Then a message appeared saying Authorization Required: call the front desk (722) The woman who answered was very polite, but there was nothing she could do to fix the problem. DirectTV was unplugged which to me sounds like someone knew about the problem but didn't do anything about it, so I spent $75 to sleep on rough pilled sheets and a rubbery blanket which really disappointed me, along with a room with no TV and an 8 year old who has been sitting in a car for over 8 hrs. We don't have cable at home, by choice, so hotels are a treat for him and he was definitely bummed that it didn't work after patiently waiting 30 mins for the setup to complete. Overall the room was clean and staff nice, but the bedding was unacceptable, the TV didn't work, and I really wish there was a box of tissues bec my allergies are going crazy. I'd really like a partial refund since we didn't receive what we paid for. I wouldn't complain if the price was $35 or maybe $40, but $75 total for the room and taxes is unfortunately way too much for the experience that we received. Thank you for taking the time to read.
