“Love the area close to river access. Monica was really helpful. Cleanliness was ok.”

“The ranch was very nice, it is very close to the town in a peaceful, well kept location. Amy the host was very communicative and made sure we knew what was going on at the ranch so there was no surprises. Our son loved the horses and my husband loved the airforce practicing drills in the valley overhead. We are dropping a star as we feel there was a few things missing that made the stay not 100%, especially when considering price point. There was just things missing that felt like they should be……

“DO NOT waste your money on this property unless you'd like to be bother & harassed by the owner, Amelia, your entire stay. First of all, Amelia callled me at 8am our first full day of our family trip. She questioned my integrity as she over counted the amount of family members I had paid for on her home camera system. I explained we felt uncomfortable with her spying on our intimate family time, but insisted she recount us on her cameras because I had 13 guest & I paid for each of them, if she……

“Had a great stay for a solo fly fishing trip on the Kern River. The property was just I expected based on photos and descriptions. Host communication was clear and helpful. Enjoyed the wood stove and limitless firewood each evening. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Barewood Inn & Suites. Initially, we were mistakenly given a one-bed room that appeared not to have been fully prepared. However, the staff were approachable and quickly realized that we had reserved a room with two beds. They promptly corrected the issue and generously offered not to charge us for the night. Our new room was clean, quiet, and had a beautiful view. The spacious, convenient parking area was another plus. Overall, we appreciated the staff’s excellent……
