“The location is the best as it is less than 2 miles from mount rushmore and easy drive to custer and crazy horse and needle highway. They dont clean the rooms everyday and the rooms are outdated. the hand soap and body wash ran out. The breakfast is simple but its a great on the go eat. There is parking on site and they will need the info of your car. Food places right next door and more about 10 min walk.”

“Very difficult to park, had 2 handicapped spaces in back, parked in one to unload, it was later occupied and had to park in front as far away as possible. the back had a turn around and was blocked several times making it difficult to get out. We had a pet and the pet area was filthy and the dogs paws were very dirty after using. We picked up after our dog but others did not. the room had a king bed but there was no room to move around. “This motel is located very close to the Mount Rushmore National Monument, 10 minutes drive only. Staffs are very friendly.”

We trailered or motorcycle into town and she was extremely accommodating with us needing a little extra space for our SUV, trailer, and motorcycle. I was expecting the house to be much smaller than it was but it was absolutely perfect for what we needed! We will definitely stay again if we come back to Custer!”

“I had several issues with this property. I do not normally post negative comments but I feel that it is necessary in this case. First, and most importantly, I requested a soft pillow. The existing pillows were rock hard, very heavy, and unusable. I was told that they just ordered these new pillows but did not order anything other than hard ones. Not only is this unacceptable for a highly rated hotel, but they were not kind. One person at the front desk merely pouted when I told him that I had……

“Our room was clean and had a picture of Mount Rushmore on the wall. We stayed 2 nights and they replenished the towels the next day. We used the breakfast and the hot tub. Both were in older areas of the building but served the purpose. The gentleman that checked us in at 10pm was efficient and amenable. He was helpful when I called to let him know we would be checking in late. He had an issue with the credit card machine and he proceeded to handle it without becoming frustrated. It was a great……

“Room was clean, staff was exceptionally helpful, breakfast was good (menu rotates daily which is nice for those staying multiple days). Wonderful national parks very close by. The only issue was that the door to our room (walk directly outside to parking lot), did not line up with the frame and we could see daylight under the door. We laid a towel down along the bottom of the door at night to help keep bugs out.”
