“There can be poor WiFi reception in some of the rooms”

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“Buena ubicación para un roadtrip. Puedes pasear por el pueblito al lado de puente y ver las impresionantes vistas del mismo desde abajo. Algo mediocre la limpieza. Debajo de la cama estaba sucísimo y al moverla un poco para colocarla cerca de la pared para que no cayese el bebé de la cama nos encontramos con hasta restos de comida. El resto del hotel bastante aseado y con buena zona común.”

“Hôtel de type auberge située dans un coin tranquille des Highlands, sur le bord d’un lac. Eilean Donan Castle est à proximité. J’ai trouvé cette auberge tout à fait charmante, dans une vieille maison où les planchers craquent. Ca m’a donné l’impression de visiter le chalet de mes grands-parents. La chambre était très spacieuse et il y avait de délicates attentions (carafe d’eau, petit sablés). Le déjeuner était délicieux.”

“The parking is absolutely rediculous, they state they have onsite parking, don't count on that. The staff directs cars into a tiny parking lot, they are double parking and blocking guest cars in and prevents people from leaving in the morning when they want”

“Our family had such a great stay at the Toravaig House Hotel. From the moment we arrived the team was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The breakfasts were spot on and delicious; my favorite the kedgeree (yum). There is no evening restaurant on site (yet, I believe that may be changing in the autumn) but we ordered the charcuterie boards for one of our evenings and were not disappointed. Also the bar options are bijou but ideal; whiskey lessons included :) We used the……

“The room is big, and it has everything you need for 1 or 2 nights stay. Very close to supermarkets, easy to buy groceries for your trip. However, it is slightly far from the high street. It takes some time to walk to the city centre, especially during rain.”
