"We had an amazing time during our stay. The hot tub on the deck overlooking a broad valley with all the beautiful colors of fall was breathtaking. We were able to enjoy some nice walks around the vast property and could truly unplug. Since everyone has a limit to how much they will unplug, we were pleased to find the Chalet equipped with fiber internet and a smart tv. While the property is very rural, and our first impressions of the road leading to the property made us question what we had gotten ourselves into, everything was wonderful. We could use it as a base of operations on some Northern Michigan adventures and then unwind in the hot tub at night. Of course, we found the Chalet so cozy and peaceful, we limited our adventures more days than not. Great news, you don’t have to have an adventure to enjoy the hot tub, it is a pleasant and relaxing experience even if you were already relaxed!We would love to stay again, the hosts were responsive when we needed something and pleasant to work with. I would recommend a stay here to anyone, although that would make it harder to book our next trip, so maybe I should keep it a secret after all. "

"Absolutely fantastic weekend getaway! The unit was incredibly clean and well decorated. It had everything we needed. We loved the activities on the rooftop - cornhole, jenga, grilling, and the view of the lake. The kayaking and tritooning was so enjoyable. Thanks for having us!"

"This *could* be a very nice property, with better maintenance and cleaning. Biggest drawbacks include poor-to-no AC on the second floor (so bedrooms were uncomfortably hot) and an overall dinginess. (They need to find a better cleaning service.) No window treatments on a number of east-facing bedroom windows means the sun comes blazing in very early. (We ended up buying some cheap curtains at Meijer and hanging them with Command hooks.) We never could get the main-floor TV to play the listed channels - and we're pretty tech-savvy. Communication was problematic; we reached out to the hosts about a week before we arrived but didn't hear anything for several days, and then the lock box code they gave us was wrong. (They resolved it quickly, but it was a little aggravating after driving for several hours.) The property looks great online, but in its current state it is very overpriced compared with comparable units close by."
