“We have stayed here several times over the years and have always enjoyed this little place. Always clean and friendly in a peaceful location. Unfortunately, the place is getting a little too pricey for a senior couple.”

“This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again.”

“I liked that the property was in a convenient location, easy to find on main road. I didn’t like the staff. They didn’t tell me anything about amenities. I had to ask if they had any food for breakfast and never knew that there was a swimming pool. Never noticed it either. Also, the most I ever paid for a single room. It had two beds but only needed the one. Otherwise, clean. I hope that helps those the are planning on staying there.”

“The Dexter will be nice once they get all of the construction done; address the hot water issues, and maybe add a chair to the room and perhaps a floor lamp, as well. In addition, they have the tiniest rolls of toilet paper with no extras available in the room, and they hardly had any shower gel in the bottle to use. Parking is at a premium- especially with all of the contractor trucks using available spots. It is a minimalist style boutique hotel. You will not talk to a front desk person after……

“Hotel was clean and well maintained. We arrived around 8:00pm and decided to eat at the restaurant on property. We were surprised to be told that the kitchen closes at 9:00. It’s a Casino Hotel. Food was average and staff friendly but not well trained. Our server did not know how to open the bottle of wine we ordered but was very grateful we taught her. Also disappointed that they only clean the room every 3 days. When we requested fresh towels they left a bag of towels outside our room……
