"I was overall satisfied. The only reason I am giving 4 is that the fishing pier was really short, so we couldn't really do fishing. Also, there was a constant smell of fungus near the utility room (even after closing the door)."

"We had a group of 15 friends and family leaving for a cruise and were able to all stay together the night before we left. The house was spacious with plenty of room for all us. The pool was nice and refreshing as well. The location was perfect for us as well."

"We enjoyed our stay. Just a couple of things to improve. The couch was not very comfortable. I would suggest a newer more comfy one to enjoy TV watching. Also, the thermostat was very confusing and difficult to operate. Otherwise it was great. Bedrooms were roomy and the bed was super comfortable. Backyard space was quiet and quite large. Decor was homey and inviting. Location made it easy to enjoy Galveston Home Tour."

My family and I go to Galveston/ Jamaica beach every year multiple times a year and I have never stayed at a house that my whole family has loved so much. "This property was hands down gorgeous. There was enough room for everyone. The pool was amazing. The host was amazing. There was a few gnats, but it’s the beach so that was to be expected. Not so much of a pest to ruin our time. The pool is not heated and we didn’t mind at all. It was hot enough outside for us to just dive in. Honestly I miss this place already! I have been singing this property praises to whoever would listen, lol"

"This was an adorable little cottage, close to the Seawall, blocks away from one of our favorite Galveston restaurants, with a back patio space to die for! Our hosts were very accommodating and we enjoyed ourselves immensely."

"My youngest son graduated from Rice Univ and so my husband and two older children stayed at the house during our visit! The rooms were great-each has their own tv, the beds are REALLY comfortable, bath towels are super absorbent, and there is bath gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided. The owners are quick to respond to questions and initiated to make sure that our stay was going well once we areived. We really appreciated their care and concern. "Very relaxing and enjoyable. Docking the boat at the house made easy access to the bay for fishing and sunset cruises. Whether laying in the hammock reading a good book, grilling trout and redfish caught that day in the bay, crabbing or a quick trip to The Strand, this was a great, low-key get away. "Clean cozy house 4 blocks from boardwalk. Plenty of space inside and out for relaxing. Huge deck with BBQ and lots of seating. Big kitchen and washer/dryer. Wonderful airy bedroom upstairs with 3 double beds. The house has 1 bathroom which is downstairs ensuite to a bedroom with a king bed and an entrance off the kitchen. Very nice safe neighborhood 1 block from the bay. We would stay here again."
