The room was clean, and well presented, although in need of a facelift. The host was new to the business and was clearly doing his best to make our stay enjoyable. "Property was well stocked with products and good range of crockery and cutlery The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked well but was very noisy when it cut in and out. The road noise was loud and continuous through the night. "

The modern bathroom facilities in our room were lovely,with fantastic water pressure and THE HOTTEST WATER EVER!! (Maybe a warning about that in your compendium’s would benefit parents with small children ;) I highly recommend The Historic Hydro for any length of stay,and I will be sure to tell all my family and friends of it’s existence if they don’t know already...
