"We stayed for 5 nights in 4 rooms on the top floor of the Palazzo and had a wonderful time. Marzia and Bianca are the best hosts! They were so helpful in planning our trip, giving us great recommendations, making dinner reservations (some pre planned and some at the last minute), and helping us with our travel within Italy. They were a great resource, so friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The historic Palazzo is in a great location, was comfortable and well maintained, and was cleaned every day....

"We enjoyed our stay in Renata's apartment. It is small, but the bedroom and bath were adequate for a couple. We did not cook there but it appeared to be supplied well. It was nicely decorated and the location was fabulous and quiet. Would definitely recommend!"

"We really loved our stay here. Check-in was very easy, communication and passports done virtual, location was easy to find, the host provided private parking outside the town walls, the one shower for 3 couples was a little tough and the beds were a bit hard, but the location and common space were wonderful. We stayed up late playing cards in the common area."

"We booked the property as per description in expedia. You need to be a boy scout to find the place. No signs at all, not even on the locked gate where we had to wait for one hour that someone opens it. We were the only guest with absolutely nobody else in the house. There was no air-condition anywhere, no WLAN at all, no hair dryer, no toiletries etc etc. All things which were supposed to be there according to the site description on expedia. "It was horrible ! No heating (except for one room) no hot water!! We were not able to take our shower, wake up during the night as it was so cold. Run far away !!. I explained the situation to the reception the day after and they were so kind to reduce the price by 1/3. "

"The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. Oh and it only comes 2-3 times a day and forget about getting back there on the bus. So 1/2 of us came unprepared to rent a car. You must have a car unless you don’t plan on leaving. I can tell you a cab will come and pick you up, the one way trip to Santa Maria Novella is @ 70-80 euro per cab. We could fit 4-6 people and the fee...

"What a hidden treasure. If you want an under the Tuscan sun moment this is the place. Super quant hotel in the hills overlooking a beautiful valley. The hotel has old world charm with some modern conveniences. Our room was large with a private balcony. The bathroom was nice, but there’s not a lot of counter space. The room was equipped with A/C which worked well. There’s a shallow pool on the property. The water was waist high, so perfect to cool off or hang out in the water and get a little sun. Dinner is available on property and is served on the downstairs terrace. We had dinner as the sun was setting, it was spectacular! Breakfast was included and was well appointed. Hot eggs, cereals, yougart, pastries, and fruit. The staff will make coffee/tea to order and deliver it to your table…with a stunning morning view. Our stay was short, so we didn’t have a chance to explore the town, but I’m sure there’s some interesting things around. We will definitely book this place again. "
